Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU) is proud to announce a significant milestone, with the Waitsia Gas Plant achieving nameplate export capacity of 250 terajoules a day. This achievement is an important step for MEPAU in line with our vision to be a reliable long-term supplier of natural gas to our customers.

The Waitsia Gas Project is a joint venture between MEPAU, as operator, and Beach Energy, and is designed to deliver a reliable supply of domestic gas to Western Australia and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to international markets. The project supports both regional energy security and the global transition to cleaner energy sources.
