Families, local businesses and people from across the Mid West came together for the 76th Chapman Valley Agricultural Show this month, a much-loved local event celebrating community and the region’s agricultural heritage – and the Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU) team was pleased to be a part of it.
The MEPAU information booth provided a fantastic opportunity to engage with community from Chapman Valley, Geraldton, Dongara and surrounding areas, sharing information and hearing local perspectives.
We really appreciated the opportunity to meet people face-to-face and have conversations about the Waitsia Gas Plant, the surrounding field and wells, and all the aspects of producing gas. And it was also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy being part of the community – taking in the local business stalls and agricultural displays, and all the creativity and effort of the exhibits.
Events like the Chapman Valley Agricultural Show provide an invaluable opportunity to connect with regional communities, build relationships and listen to the people who live and work in the areas where we operate.
