Meridian Gas Project

The Meridian Gas Fields are located near Moura in Queensland’s Bowen Basin and incorporates two production licenses and four production license applications.

Project Location

MEPAU is the non-operator joint venture partner (49%) with WestSide for the Greater Meridian Permits, which are connected to both the Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) pipeline and the domestic market via the Queensland Gas Pipeline.

Located near Moura in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, the project delivered first gas in 1996. Since 2010, the project has been operated by Westside (51% interest holder). The project owns gas compression and pipeline infrastructure that delivers gas to both the GLNG project and the domestic gas market.
