Sponsorships & Grants at MEPAU

Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU) supports communities in which we operate by partnering with, sponsoring and providing grants to a range of not-for-profit organisations and funding locally driven initiatives that contribute to community development in the Mid West, especially those in close proximity to the Waitsia Gas Field, including the Shires of Irwin, Coorow and Carnamah, and the City of Greater Geraldton.

Key Focus Areas
  • Education, Skills Development & Training: particularly science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) topics;
  • Employment and pre-employment training opportunities for the communities in which we have a presence (such as the Mid West region), especially to benefit youth and local Indigenous persons; and
  • Sustainable community initiatives involving social engagement, health and fitness and also the natural environment.
