Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU) is a WA-based energy provider – our portfolio in Australia includes assets in the Perth Basin, Exmouth sub-Basin and Browse Basin (Western Australia), Gippsland Basin (Victoria), and the Bowen Basin (Queensland).

We are actively exploring, appraising, developing and producing gas in the Mid West of Western Australia, and we are the operator of the Waitsia Gas Project, with two gas-producing facilities in the Mid West.
We are also exploring decarbonisation options, including carbon capture and storage technology, and carbon farming.
