Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU) attended SHINE’s 2025 Sponsors and Partners Lunch. The event brought together sponsors and partners for a lunch and friendly basketball game at the City of Greater Geraldton’s new Youth Centre.

The event provided an opportunity to connect with the team at SHINE, meet their students, and celebrate the impact of the organisation’s programs. SHINE continues to strengthen education, life skills, self-esteem, and employment opportunities for young women across the Mid West region. The highlight of the day was a spirited ‘Sponsors vs Students’ match, with SHINE students taking home the win.

MEPAU and Beach Energy support SHINE with a contribution of $150,000 over three years to its school-based programs — Shine and Shimmer — as well as the post-school initiative, Emerging Women. This partnership aims to help SHINE enhance opportunities and outcomes for young women in the communities of the Mid West.
