Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU) and Beach Energy welcomed local stakeholders to an End of Year Sundowner in Dongara, held at Southerlys. The event provided an opportunity to celebrate a successful year and to thank representatives from key local organisations including emergency services for their support of the Waitsia Gas Project.
The evening opened with a speech from MEPAU CEO Ken Yamamura, who reflected on the year’s achievements and expressed appreciation for the strong relationships that have supported the project. Ken also extended a special thank-you to local emergency services for the vital support they provide to the Mid West community.
Attendees included Shire of Irwin President Cr Isabelle Scott, Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry CEO Joanne Fabling, St John Community Paramedic Catherine Macartney, and local landowners.
MEPAU remains committed to working collaboratively with the community and making a positive contribution to the Mid West region. We extend our sincere thanks to all stakeholders who attended and look forward to continuing our partnership in the year ahead.
