The Mid West Community Grant Program is open for applications of up to $4,000 in funding to support initiatives, activities, projects and equipment that will enhance and promote community wellbeing within the Mid West.
MEPAU particularly welcomes applications that relate to or support one or more of MEPAU’s key areas of support:
- Sustainable community initiatives involving social engagement, health and fitness and also the natural environment;
- Education, Skills Development & Training – opportunities to promote work readiness and employment for persons living in the Mid West region of Western Australia, particularly science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) topics; and
- Employment and pre-employment training opportunities for Mid West communities, particularly those where MEPAU has a presence (such as the Shires of Irwin, Coorow and Carnamah, and the City of Greater Geraldton), especially initiatives that benefit youth and local Indigenous persons.
