MEPAU is delighted to have been nominated for the successful Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Excellence Awards.

Our excitement is two-fold. This is the first time MEPAU has been nominated and, we have been nominated for two award categories: Community Spirit and Large Business.

Since 2014, MEPAU has been an active participant of The Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MWCCI), the voice for businesses in the region, whether they be large or small. These premier awards celebrate and recognise the achievements of the Mid West business community.

The awards bring together stakeholders from across the Mid West region and the State, with representatives from small business to the corporate sector.

Joanne Fabling, CEO MWCCI, says, “It’s the premier award in the region and this year, our Silver Anniversary, we have record nominations and submissions. The fields are exceptionally strong across all the categories. Up to nine judges conducted 120 Interviews over a six day period.”

Joanne adds that MEPAU has had a strong relationship with the community as well as with the MWCCI and has been a great advocate for the area.

Andy Ando, MEPAU’s Director & Chief Administrative Officer, said “MEPAU is very pleased to have been nominated by our Mid West business community peers for these prestigious awards. It is a great honour to be recognised this way.”

Since the nominations were made, MEPAU has been selected by the judging panel for interviews in both categories, which is very encouraging.

MEPAU wishes all the award candidates the best for success and looks forward to continuing to work with Mid West businesses.

The MWCCI Business Excellence Awards will be held 6pm, Saturday 7 August 2021 at Batavia Hall, Geraldton Grammar School. MEPAU is looking forward to attending the event and celebrating the awards announcements.
