Inspiring the ‘Next Generation’ in energy production

At Friday’s Energy Club WA Next Generation Expo we engaged with over 300 high school students about energy, where gas comes from and what we do with it, and alternative energy sources.

The event was at Edith Cowan University’s Joondalup campus, and the ECU Engineering building was filled with energy-related exhibitors providing activities, displays and information for the students.

The Expo is the culmination of ECWA’s Next Generation Schools Program, which engages with high schools throughout the year to introduce the ‘Next Generation’ to the energy industry and energy careers in a fun, interactive and educational environment.
