Earlier this year we sponsored the Dongara Osprey Unit of Girl Guides Australia to purchase some camping equipment – and they have just had their first sleep out!! Their Unit Leader sent us these photos of the excitement and activity to share.

Girl Guides Australia haven’t had a unit in Dongara since the 80s, so they’ve been busily setting up and procuring equipment to get their guides out and active – and they were hugely thankful of the support from Mitsui E&P Australia and joint venture partner Beach Energy Ltd.

The Australian Guide Program (AGP) helps girls to learn life-skills and leadership while having fun, making friends and enjoying the outdoors. Elements of the Australian Guide Program. The Dongara unit has four Unit Leaders/Helpers (volunteers) and 24 girl guides aged from 6 to 12 years old who attend weekly sessions as well as additional planned activities.
