$75,000 for Skate Precinct Enhancement Project in the Shire of Irwin

The Port Denison foreshore is set to benefit from a $75,000 upgrade to the Skate Park Precinct, proudly sponsored by Mitsui E&P Australia and Joint Venture Partner Beach Energy.

The project includes essential upgrades, including a shade structure, accessible seating, water amenities, lighting and an all-abilities BBQ facility.

Led by the Dongara Denison Lions Club and supported by the Shire of Irwin, this community-driven initiative aims to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming space for young people, families and the wider community to gather, connect and enjoy the outdoors in comfort and safety.

Looking ahead, local efforts will focus on further enhancing the precinct with the installation of an all-abilities ablution block to support the use of the precinct and ensure it remains accessible and inclusive for everyone. Ongoing community involvement and funding will play a crucial role in bringing this next stage to life.

At MEPAU, we are proud to support the communities where we operate and to back initiatives that promote community wellbeing, inclusion and lasting community benefit.
