Congratulations to our latest Mid West Community Grant recipients – these are not-for-profit community groups, clubs and organisations with initiatives that will enhance and promote community wellbeing in the Mid West:

  • AgVocate WA – in support of the fundraising ball ‘A Night in the Moonlight’ for Rural Aid, $4,000.
  • Coorow Hockey Club – to support the installation of a new storage shed and temporary shade structures, $4,000.
  • Coorow Community Christmas Tree – supporting the catering for the annual community event, $3,500.
  • Coorow Swimming Club – to fund a foundation swimming coaching course for parent volunteers and younger community members, $4,000.
  • Dongara Irwin Race Club – to upgrade electrics in club facilities and ablution blocks, $4,000.
  • Dongara Osprey Girl Guides – funding the supply and installation and supply of a flagpole, $517.
  • Dongara Playgroup – purchase of new cupboards for storing toys and equipment, $3,750.
  • Eneabba Progress Association – to support building a bus shelter for students traveling to Carnamah high school, $11,000.
  • Eneabba Tennis Club – to fund tennis coaching for four weeks, $1,960.
  • Friends of the Big Tractor Committee (Carnamah) – to fund lighting for the Big Tractor, $3,500.
  • Morawa District High School – supporting the replacement of the playground cubby, $4,000.

The Mid West Community Grant Program is funded by the Waitsia Joint Venture partners, Mitsui E&P Australia and Beach Energy. The next round of applications will open 1 April – 1 May 2025.
